NO-BAKE DECADENT CHOCOLATE AVOCADO MOUSSE

This rich, dark chocolate mousse achieves a wonderfully smooth, creamy texture thanks to the healthy fats in Morro Creek Ranch avocados. It’s surprisingly easy to make and is naturally dairy-free and vegan, making it a perfect, guilt-free dessert.
Ingredients:
-
2 ripe Morro Creek Ranch Hass avocados, peeled and pitted
-
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (high quality recommended)
-
1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar (adjust to taste)
-
1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
Optional Garnish: Fresh raspberries, cocoa nibs, or whipped coconut cream
Instructions:
-
Combine Ingredients: Place the avocado flesh, cocoa powder, maple syrup/agave, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt into a food processor or high-speed blender.
-
Blend: Process until the mixture is completely smooth and silken. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides several times to ensure no lumps of avocado remain. The mixture should be uniform and glossy.
-
Taste and Adjust: Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness or add a splash more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
-
Chill: Spoon the mousse into individual serving cups or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow it to set and chill, which enhances the texture and flavor.
-
Serve: Garnish just before serving with fresh berries, cocoa nibs, or a dollop of whipped coconut cream.
